Recommended Wedding Florists – my views.
Like photographers, there are literally hundreds of wedding florists out there to chooses from. But also like photographers, there are some that are good and some not so good. I have been fortunate to work with some amazing flower stylists over the years, and have no hesitation in recommending the following who will all offer an amazingly good service.
Poppies Designer Flowers.
I have known Marion for over ten years now and she consistently produces some incredible creations for her clients. I can often spot her arrangements even before I know they are hers, such is her eye for beautiful bouquets and unusual buttonholes.
One of Marion’s unique traits is that she spent many years as a wedding co-ordinator, and so appreciates all the logistics involved with any wedding however complicated it may be. If you hire Marion, not only do you get a great service but you get all her experience too which can be invaluable.
Shrinking Violet Flowers.
Run by Nicky & Lorraine, Shrinking Violet Flowers offers unusual and quirky designs for all types of weddings. They really do work with you to produce arrangements and styling that reflects your ideas or theme. They are great at incorporating floristry and unusual foliage into venue and table designs, which makes their work instantly recognisable. They are great fun too!
Sophie Kim Flowers.
I have had the pleasure of working with Sophie for many years now, as we are both recommended suppliers at Hedingham Castle and Spains Hall in Essex. Apart from being one of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet, Sophie produces some gorgeous floral designs for any occasion. Sophie was a finalist in the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards which is a real testament to her talent.
I have worked with the owner of Wild Poppies Samantha French several times now, and not is she lovely to be around she is a seriously talented florist. Samantha won the regional award for Best Florist at the 2015 Wedding Industry Awards which was well deserved. We have even worked together on a styled shoot for a new venue that opens in Suffolk very soon, which was great fun.
